Located very close to the Guy, Concordia subway station, this hostel offers easy access to downtown Montreal and its services. the location is convenient, with grocery and other shops within a short walking distance. the rooms are clean and comfortable, with lockers provided for storing valuables. the hostel also offers high, speed internet and Wi, Fi for free. Breakfast is included in the room fee, and guests have the option to cook meals in the well, equipped kitchen or dine at the affordable Cactus Restaurant downstairs. the host, Paul, is friendly and knowledgeable about the city.
The kitchen area, while functional, may need better maintenance and cleanliness, as some dishes tend to pile up after being washed.

The location of the hotel was incredibly convenient, being close to major attractions and public transportation. The staff was friendly and responsive, always ready to assist with any concerns or questions. The rooms were clean and comfortable, providing a pleasant place to rest after a long day of exploring the city.
The hotel seemed to be falling apart. The building looked run-down and neglected, with leaks in the roof and a messy interior.

The bed was comfortable and allowed for a decent night's sleep. the location of the hotel was very convenient, with easy access to key attractions and amenities.
The lack of security and safety measures in place was concerning. There was no designated person to address any issues or complaints, which was evident when a guest caused a disturbance and nothing was done about it.

I got great value for my money at this hotel. The room was cozy and comfortable, and the location was perfect with lots of nearby bars and restaurants. The staff, especially Lucy, were incredibly friendly and made my stay memorable.
Breakfast selection could be improved with more options. The hotel could consider adding some local specialties to the menu to make it more unique for guests.

I recently stayed at Auberge L'Apero in Montreal for a few days. The hostel was clean and cozy, with female and mixed rooms available. The 12 dorm room was split into two smaller rooms, making it feel less crowded. I loved that there was a bathroom within the room, eliminating the need to leave the room at night. The hostel offered a simple, yet satisfying breakfast with a variety of cereals and toast. The location was fantastic, close to the metro and bus lines, as well as plenty of restaurants.
Would recommend this hotel.

The location of the hotel is ideal, as it is very close to Guy Concordia metro station, making it convenient to explore the city. It is also in the heart of everything, with main shops, bars, and restaurants just a short walk away. the rooms are clean and comfortable, with sturdy bunks and free key, operated lockers. the bathrooms are well, maintained and the staff is friendly. Complimentary breakfast and free internet are nice touches, creating a home, away, from, home atmosphere.
The lack of washrooms, with only two available for all guests, can be a slight inconvenience.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
